the ACT

The ACT is a national college admission exam with sections in five subject areas. There are a total of 215 multiple-choice questions, and with breaks, the test will take just over four hours to complete. (The actual testing time is 3 hours and 25 minutes).  Some students find the test questions to be more straightforward than those on the SAT, but the material covered is more expansive than the SAT.  Also different from the SAT, attempting and missing questions on the ACT does not negatively impact your score.
